Yes. We have free parking with 7 spaces at our Farm Store near our ladies’ barn. For larger private events that require street parking, we can use our Gator to transport guests to and from the event area.

Please email or text us with any questions, and we will respond as soon as possible. Because this is a working farm, our animals come first, so we may not always be able to respond immediately. We will respond within 24 hours and usually within just a few hours.

Cell service is limited in the woods, so please do not call, as we may not be able to answer the phone.

If a time slot is available on our booking link, we can accommodate that schedule. We update our availability frequently as things come up.

Occasionally, a farm emergency may happen that we cannot predict. If we are unable to provide your scheduled tour because of an emergency, we will be happy to adjust your tour time or provide a refund.

Tours are available Monday through Wednesday when our Farm Store is closed.

We also offer tours Thursday through Sunday before the Farm Store opens and after it closes. Please check our booking link for current availability.

Yes. We have an old-fashioned outhouse available for our Farm Store and Tour customers, along with hand sanitizer.

Yes! Children love our tours. There is so much to learn, and many of our animals are very friendly.

Children must stay with their parents and our tour guide at all times. Because of our livestock guardian dogs, children cannot run around the farm unattended. Our Great Pyrenees are working dogs and can become concerned when people wander around the farm or children run through their livestock areas.

This is also a working farm with tractors, trucks, heavy equipment, and livestock. Please do not allow children to chase our ducks, as it can stress them and may cause our gander, Vern, to become protective. Vern is curious and lovely as long as his flock and ladies do not feel threatened.

Guests using a cane can generally access the barn, Farm Store, and tour areas. Wheelchair access is more difficult because there is a step up into the Farm Store, two steps going down, and a gravel driveway that may not accommodate a wheelchair.

Please keep in mind that this is a hilly farm located in the woods. However, the walk to our barn to meet our female alpacas is relatively flat.

Our alpacas respond better to smaller groups. They tend to warm up more quickly, and everyone has a better opportunity to interact with them.

Our barn is also not very large, so keeping groups to 8 people or fewer allows both our guests and alpacas to move around comfortably without causing unnecessary stress to the animals.

For larger groups, such as homeschool groups, we may be able to divide your group into two 30-minute sessions. Please email us to discuss available options.

This is handled on a case-by-case basis.

We reserve 60 minutes for each tour. If you arrive late and another tour is scheduled afterward, your tour time will need to be shortened so we do not delay the next group.

If there is no tour scheduled after yours, being a little late is usually less of an issue. However, we also have farm helpers, approximately 200 livestock, multiple pastures, and daily farm responsibilities to manage, so we kindly ask that you arrive on time and respect our schedule.

Wear comfortable clothing that can easily be washed. Farm animals can be dirty, and weather conditions may make the farm muddy, especially after heavy rain.

Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended in case an animal accidentally steps backward onto your foot.

Please do not wear flip-flops, sandals, or heels. Our farm is hilly and has gravel surfaces, so sturdy and comfortable footwear is the safest choice.

Our barn is covered, and this is where you will spend much of your time with our female and teenage male alpacas.

It is only a short walk from your vehicle to the barn, so please bring an umbrella or rain jacket if rain is expected.

As a small working farm, tourism helps us feed our livestock and pay our farm helpers. We kindly ask that you not cancel simply because of rain unless weather conditions make visiting unsafe.

Short answer: Yes.

However, alpacas are not likely to spit at you unless you get between them and their food or they feel uncomfortable. During your tour, we will show you the proper way to feed them so they can stay focused on eating.

As long as you follow our instructions, you should hopefully stay free of their dry—but not particularly pleasant-smelling—spit!

Our livestock guardian dogs have been bred for thousands of years to protect livestock. They are deeply bonded to their animals, farm owner Shani, and her son Jonah.

These dogs have an important job: keeping everyone on the farm safe. Some are very friendly and may want to be petted, while others are less interested in people. Those dogs may bark a few times and keep their distance as long as you stay with your tour guide.

Because they live and work here, we are not able to put them away during tours.

If you are extremely afraid of dogs, our farm may not be the best place for you to visit. If you love dogs, however, you may absolutely love visiting our farm!

Absolutely! We would love for you to visit our Farm Store, and your purchases directly help support our farm animals and helpers.

We recommend visiting the store after your tour because you will have a better understanding of alpaca fiber and the products we create from it.

You can also see our handwoven alpaca rugs and other products made from the same beautiful fiber you experienced during your tour.

Yes! We are happy to ship our Farm Store products.

Shipping is a flat $15 for orders up to $100, and orders over $100 receive FREE shipping.

We typically ship once a week because we are tied to the farm and do not leave often. Please keep this in mind when ordering, as we are a small farm and cannot provide Amazon-style delivery speeds.

Your patience and support mean a great deal to this single-mom-run working farm!
